This book captured my attention in the first sentence i read. Max, a young girl not completely human, is leader of 5 other kids just like her. They are an exceptional group of kids for one main reason: they have wings. The six of them live in the middle of no where peacefully until one day a group of erasers, the half man half wolf creatures appointed guard position at the "school" Max and her friends were created in, attack and seize the youngest of Max's flock: Angel. This flairs up the flock and asap Max, Nudge and Fang were off to her rescue. Will they make it in time to retrieve Angle from the cruel laboratory? Every second counts as tiny Angle grows weaker...
